PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet accumulating mechanism and an image forming device, which restrain the collapse of an accumulated sheet bundle, by suitably accumulating sheets subjected to predetermined processing.;SOLUTION: This sheet accumulating mechanism includes a stopping plate 540 oppositely arranged to an ejecting port for ejecting the sheet, a support plate 513 for supporting the sheet and a holding plate for rotatably holding the stopping plate 540, and is characterized in that the stopping plate 540 includes a stopping surface arranged so as to abut on the forefront edge of the sheet, a rib surface including a rib and a shaft, and the holding plate includes a slit for guiding the movement of the shaft, and the slit is formed so as to be positioned by a first position and a second position, and the rib includes the first edge and the second edge abutting on the support plate. and the inclination of the stopping plate 540 to the support plate, when the shaft exists in the first position, is different from the inclination of the stopping plate 540 to the support plate, when the shaft exists in the second position.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
