PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scanning type laser microscope capable of setting the resolution of the wavelength of detection light to the optimum one so as to suit the purpose of analysis and efficiently detecting data.;SOLUTION: By introducing spectrally dispersed fluorescence into a line sensor 30 by using an optical path G, the rough wavelength characteristic (distribution) of the spectrally dispersed fluorescence is acquired by performing scanning once. In acquiring detailed data on a notable wavelength range based on the wavelength characteristic (distribution), the spectrally dispersed fluorescence is introduced into a slit 27 by using an optical path F, and the width of the slit 27 is set and the rotational scanning of a diffraction grating mirror 25 is performed to acquire the detailed data on the notable wavelength range.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
