PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a food eatable at ease in snack feeling such that children and youngling eat fast food, through widening the applications of devil's tongue tending to be served as only a side dish or only a Japanese-style dish as with conventional cases.;SOLUTION: The food is such as to be obtained by the following process: a devil's tongue material is mixed together with a mixture of Maitake and rice powder that is viscous after heated followed by molding and heating and then hardening the resultant mixture, which is then cooled and then frozen and thawed and subsequently minced, followed by admixing albumen with the mince; thereafter, the mince is mixed with devil's tongue powder and calcium hydroxide followed by mixing spice(s) and seasoning(s) together; and the resultant product is molded into the objective sausage-form food.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
