Reducing the effects of interference at the period of the program

This paper can reduce the effect of interference that boosts the adjacent memory cells, a system for programming non-volatile storage. A plurality of memory cells can be divided into two or more groups. In one example, a plurality of memory cells can be divided into even and odd memory cell. However, I can also be used grouping other methods. Before the first trigger, the first group of the memory cell is programmed together with the second group of memory cells. In front of the second trigger, the first group of memory cells are programmed separately from the second group of memory cells even after the first trigger. In after the second trigger, the first group of the memory cell is programmed together with the second group of memory cells. The before and after both the trigger, the first group of the memory cell is verified with a second group of memory cells.
