PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an osteogenetic material capable of performing osteogenesis of the material and promoting the osteogenesis in vivo while controlling the releasing period of an organic bone growth factor. PSOLUTION: The method for the production of the protein-calcium phosphate complex comprises a step to prepare a solution containing a water-soluble protein composed of a single molecule of a water-soluble protein and/or an associated water-soluble protein in an aqueous solution in a state essentially free from precipitate and a step to add a solution containing calcium phosphate to the solution containing the water-soluble protein to precipitate the protein-calcium phosphate complex.
