PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a motor car capable of good running while effectively suppressing wearing of a collector ring and an electric car wire without mounting a large scale accumulating and generating devices on the motor car.;SOLUTION: The current collector ring 6 of the motor car 4 can be connected to / disconnected from the electric car wire 1, an on-vehicle power feed unit 10 for supplying power for running from this current collector ring 6 independent of the collective power and a running control unit 5 are mounted on the motor car 4. The running control unit 5 performs data communication with an operation control unit 2, to switch the running condition of the motor car 4 between the first running condition, which utilizes supply power from the on-vehicle power feed unit 10 with no power feed from the current collector ring 6, and the second running condition, which utilizes the supply power from the current collector ring 6.
