PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform wood inspection with both reflected light and transmitted light by one photographing means.;SOLUTION: A first illumination means 6 performs illumination for surface inspection of wood, and a second illumiantion means 5 illuminates the back surfaces of the wood to photograph the wood by the photographing means 8. Images of parts of transmitted light from the second illumination means 5 are separated from images of the photographed wood by an image processing means to measure the shape and size of the separated parts of transmitted light.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
