PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To put amorphous soft magnetic alloy powder for a powder magnetic core capable of maintaining low loss even in a high frequency region to practical use, thus to provide a powder magnetic core for an inductor component capable of dealing with large electric current and having excellent low loss properties. PSOLUTION: The powder magnetic core is formed of amorphous soft magnetic alloy powder and a binder. The amorphous soft magnetic alloy powder is composed of crushed grains having a mean grain size of 3 to 10 m, and in which 50% of the powder has an aspect ratio of 2. The amorphous soft magnetic alloy powder is produced by a high speed powder reactor 10 provided with: pulverizing medium balls 3 made of at least either metal or zirconia; and a variable guide vane 4.
