PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic money method and a system by which the occurrence of illegal action can be effectively prevented and the spread of electronic money can be promoted by providing electronic money service at low cost.;SOLUTION: In the method for assisting the writing (charging) of amount information to an electronic money recording medium owned by a customer 6 by using servers 3 to 5 of a bank 2, the servers 3 to 5 execute: a request receiving step (step S1) for acquiring the information of a payment account of a charged amount, an electronic money number and a charging request amount from a user and acquiring a request; an account information prescribed step (step S2) for discriminating whether the balance of the account is the charging request amount and more or not; a fund movement instruction step (step S3) for instructing the payment of the charging request amount from the account to the accounting system 8 of the bank 2 when the balance of the account is the charging request amount and more; and a charging request amount notification process (step S6) for notifying an electronic money operation company 7 of the charging request amount and the electronic money number.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
