PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To feed channel composite signals to speakers finely adjustable automatically so as to obtain a sound image localization meeting listeners in an acoustic system composed of a plurality of speakers.;SOLUTION: A plurality of speakers have their respective microphones for receiving sounds radiated from the plurality of speakers and radiate speaker test sound signals for checking whether an expected sound image localization resulting from multi-channel sound signals per channel appears. The microphone of each speaker receive radiated sounds therefrom. The obtained sound signals are analyzed. Based on layout information of the plurality of speakers and the analysis result of the received sound signals, the channel composite coefficients are corrected respectively about the speaker signals so that an expected sound image localization is obtained per channel.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
