PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode for a dielectrophoresis device capable of improving the S/N ratio by reducing detectable background of stimulating light reflected on the electrode existing under a substance (molecule).;SOLUTION: By providing a blank part on the electrode, the electrode is formed so that a substance affected by a negative dielectrophoretic force generated by applying voltage to the electrode can gather above or below the blank part of the electrode.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
