PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device, a method, and a program for subjective feature element generation which can efficiently generate a subjective feature element.;SOLUTION: A corpus for impression expression extraction is generated by merging image information attached document data. A set of an impression expression word and an evaluation viewpoints (noun phrase) which is strongly tied with the impression expression word is extracted from the corpus for impression expression extraction, and the frequency of repetition that the repeatedly extracted set appear in the corpus for impression expression extraction is obtained. A set having a high frequency is matched with sets of impression expression words and noun phrases appearing in the image information attached data and the frequency of matching is used as analytic data to analyze main components. As a result of the main component analysis, an element having a large main component load quantity is employed as a subjective feature element.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
