PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a noble metal catalyst and its production method for keeping and improving high specific surface area of a porous alumina cryogel (porous alumina structure body) even if platinum particles are added in a high concentration, and providing high heat resistance to platinum particles at 800°C atmosphere.;SOLUTION: The noble metal catalyst comprises a porous alumina structure body containing platinum (Pt) and ceria (CeO₂).
