PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically and efficiently laminate a film on a sheet and to provide a method for producing a laminated optical film of high quality obtained by laminating an optical film on a sheet.;SOLUTION: A polarizing plate F₂ with a separator stuck on a lamination surface is led to a prescribed transfer route. Before the polarizing plate F₂ is laminated on a film F₁, the posture of the plate F₂ is changed from a horizontal posture to a vertical posture. Next, the plate F₂ is sent into the gap between a sticking roller 16 and a guide roller 4 while the separator s₂ is peeled by a knife edge e. When the polarizing plate F₂ reaches a prescribed position, the sticking roller is moved, and the polarizing plate F₂ supplied synchronously with the transfer of the film F₁ is pressed to the film F₁ to laminate them.
