PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of a test for evaluating soundness of a sheet material being lain on the ground for displacement of the ground based on the results of tensile test of the sheet material that soundness of the sheet material can not be evaluated correctly for deformation of the ground when the ground subsides abruptly due to earthquake, or the like.;SOLUTION: An object being tested, i.e., a sheet material, is arranged on the surface of a ground jig and a displacement jig disposed in a pressure vessel and held at the periphery thereof. Evaluation test of the sheet material is then performed for deformation of the ground by displacing the displacement jig while applying a pressure to the object being tested thereby displacing the object being tested.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
