The pressurised container, e.g. for paint for a spray gun, has a lid (3) with a flange (16) which is fastened to a second flange (4, 9) on the container body (2) by a bolt (8) which fits into a nut (10) mounted in the flange. This consists of a second bolt at right angles to the first, allowing the first bolt to be pivoted to release the pressure in the container.
