PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a silane coupling agent capable of suppressing the static electricity of glass fibers from generating and providing a glass-fiber reinforced polyester resin having excellent water resistance and physical characteristics, a sizing agent comprising the silane coupling agent, a glass fiber bundle coated with the sizing agent and the glass-fiber reinforced polyester resin comprising the glass fiber bundle. SOLUTION: This silane coupling agent is obtained by reacting one mol of a silane compound represented by the following general formula (1) NH2(R1- NH)n-R2-Si-(OCxH2x+1)3 (1) [R1 and R2 are each an alkylene group; n is 0-5; and x is 1-3] with 2 mol of glycidyl (meth)acrylate.
