PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter more difficult to clog or be occluded by ash, capable of removing a particulate material in an exhaust gas without a particular means such as soot burning.;SOLUTION: The filter for removing the particulate material in the exhaust gas comprises: a laminated body formed into a polyhedron by alternately stacking elemental units of sets of porous corrugated plates 1, 2 and a porous flat plate 3; a gas flow-in plane formed on a face crossing the ridgeline direction of the corrugated plate of the laminate and a gas flow-out plane formed on the other face parallel with it; and an exhaust gas flow-in path and an exhaust gas flow-out path each formed between the porous flat plate and the porous corrugated plate, wherein the exhaust gas flow-in plane and flow-out plane are formed so as to cross at an angle of 45 degrees with regard to the ridge line direction of the corrugated plate in a plane view so that the length between the gas flow-in plane and the gas flow-out plane is equal to each other.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
