PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an effective technique to ensure compatibility between enhancement rigidity and weight reduction of an occupant restraint belt mounted to a vehicle.;SOLUTION: In a seat belt device 100 mounted on the vehicle, webbing composing a long shaped seat belt 110 for restricting a vehicle occupant C is woven so that warp and weft made of a synthetic fiber are orthogonally extended. At least one of the warp and weft is the synthetic fiber wherein a plurality of fiber bodies having a second fiber having lower melting point than that of a first fiber applied to the outer surface of the first fiber, are bundled, and composed by using a heat weldable synthetic fiber wherein a plurality of fiber bodies melted in a second fiber under the processing condition of 150 [°C] or more and 180 [sec] or more is mutually heat welded.
