PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an onboard object monitoring system for distinguishing between detection of a thing left behind and detection of rearrangement in a vehicle even when rearranging the vehicle interior.;SOLUTION: This onboard object monitoring system has: a vehicle interior change detection processing part comparing first image data photographed by a first image photographing instruction of a cellphone when getting into a vehicle and second image data photographed by a second image photographing instruction of the cell phone when getting out of the vehicle, and detecting the change of the vehicle interior based on image comparison result decision input data in the cellphone when they are not the same; and an onboard thing-left-behind detection continuation processing part rewriting a first image database by the first image data photographed by the second photographing instruction of a first image in the cellphone, obtaining the first image data same as the second image data, and continuing the detection in the vehicle.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
