PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pulsar ring 1 for magnetic rotary encoder provided with a magnetic rotary original point, that does not depend on changing magnetization pitch.;SOLUTION: On the holder 11 to be mounted on a rotating body, the magnetization layer 12 is integrally bonded, which is made of elastic material of rubber-like material or synthetic resin mixed with magnetic powder and magnetized with multiple poles of prescribed pitch in a circumferential direction. At a part of the bonded part 11a between the holder 11 and the magnetization layer 12 in the circumferential direction, the bulge 11c etc., different from other part in the sectional shape, is formed.
