PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a titanium alloy which is improved in linearity at plastic working, to provide a titanium alloy member, and to provide a method of producing a titanium alloy.;SOLUTION: In the titanium alloy comprising 5 to 50wt.% of at least one metallic element selected from Zr, Hf, V, Nb, Ta, Cr, Mo, W and Sn, and the balance substantially Ti, the ratio (ηmax/Hav) of the maximum deviation ηmax to the average value Hav of the Vickers hardness in a prescribed cross-section is controlled to ±0.3. Since the variation in Vickers hardness in the cross-section is low, when the titanium alloy, its elongation is uniformly made easy.
