Provides methods for producing ISOPRENE from cultured cells using various components of the DxP Pathway and MVA, or components associated with the path and Route 25 MVA, redox polypeptide that interacts with the accumulation of Iron and sulphur and ISOPRENE synthase. Also provides compositions that include these cultured cells.Methods for production of ISOPRENE are used in the Roofing Industry and rubber.Claim 1: Cells comprising (i) a heterologous Nucleic Acid encoding a polypeptide that interacts with the redox of Iron Sulfur Cluster and a polypeptide of the DxP Pathway, a polypeptide of fa by MVA and a polypeptide of ISOPRENE synthase or (ii) a Duplicate copy of a u00e1cid Nucleic or endogenous redox encodes a polypeptide that interacts with the accumulation of Iron and sulfurA polypeptide of the DxP Pathway, a polypeptide of MVA Pathway and a polypeptide of ISOPRENE synthase.
