PROCESSING SYSTEM, FOUR-PIPE DIRECT HEATING SYSTEM FOR BURNING A FUEL AND DIRECT HEATING OF A PROCESSING FLUID AND METHOD. A four-tube heating system for burning a released heat transfer fuel to a processing fluid is described. The heating system includes a fuel introduction zone, a burn zone and an oxidant introduction zone, and a processing fluid zone, wherein the fuel introduction zone is defined by fuel introduction devices for introducing fuel in the firing zone which is defined by an outer reaction tube and enclosed in the fuel delivery device, and wherein the oxidant introduction zone is defined by an external oxidant introduction tube and enclosed in the reaction tube, and wherein the processing fluid zone is defined by an external processing tube and encased in the oxidizer tube.
