TREATMENT OF DYSMANORIA THROUGH TRANSDERMAL ADMINISTRATION OF NESTEROIDAL ANTI-INFLAMMATORY MEDICINES

Methods and compositions are proposed for the treatment of subjects suffering from dysmenorrhea, including both primary and secondary dysmenorrhea. Aspects of the invention include administering to the subject an effective amount of a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory agent. Transdermal dosage forms of a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug and kits comprising such dosage forms and finding use in the implementation of the proposed methods are also proposed.
