Described is an extract of Dactylopius coccis for detecting fungi and oomycetes in fresh water aquaculture farms and the process for obtaining the same, which composition includes D-glucopiranosyl-methyl-hydroxylated antraquinone conjugated with derivatives of hemolymph cells and enzymes of strains selected from the Dactylopius coccus. The invention is a pink lyophilisate hydro soluble powder for the detection of microscopic fungi intended to perform a quick diagnose in commercial fresh water aquaculture. The extract is stored in disposable and sterile reactant tubes of 3 ml, which are packed in sterile conditions and reconstituted with approximately 1 ml of sample water from commercial culture ponds to be evaluated in the form of a red colour soluble phase.
