COMPOSITE WOODEN PROFILE FOR MANUFACTURE OF WINDOW AND DOOR WINGS ANDFRAMES AS WELL AS WINDOWS AND DOORS COMPRISING WINGS OR FRAMES COMPOSED OF THIS KIND OF PROFILES

A composite wooden profile (1) for the manufacture of window and door wings (2) and frames (3) is proposed, consisting of at least three strips of wood (11, 12, 13), joined with one another and glued together along the whole length, namely of the end strips (11, 13) and of at least one central strip (12) arranged between the latter two, where at least the said centrally arranged strip (12) is fitted with a lengthwise, basically uninterrupted groove (120) which is filled with an appropriate thermal insulation core (125). On both sides of the strip (12), the said groove (120) is ending at a certain distance from the ending areas (121, 122), which are foreseen for mutual joining of the profile (1) with the respective profile (1) in corner areas (21, 31) of the thus obtained window or door wing (2) or frame (3). The window or door wings (2) and/or frames (3) consisting of this kind of profiles (1) excel in their enhanced thermal insulation properties, and at the same time, in high stiffness, particularly in the corner areas (21, 31).
