the vegetable water of liquid effluents from the crushing olives or olive mill wastewaters (oomw "). today they are one of the major pollutants of environment in tunisia. this is a crucial issue in effluent is the absence of a method feasible, sustainable and socially acceptable treatment.in this study, we were able to demonstrate the ability of the strain pseudomonas putida mt-2 to decolorize rapidly (percentage of discoloration: 75%) of vegetable water, recovered from a pool of storage, and to use it as a source of nutrients (the rate of polyphenols decreased by 66%. after 2 days of incubation.the in vitro and in vivo studies, carried out for the first time on the vegetable water, we were able to show that this structure is highly toxic at very low doses is not after treatment with p. putida. p. putida mt-2 is capable of discoloring and rapidly detoxify vegetable water.
