METHOD FOR DIAGNOSING PROLIFERATION PROCESS IN BREAST OF INFERTILE WOMEN

A method for diagnosing the proliferation process in the breast of the infertile women comprises the complex examination of the intraductal fluid, namely the cell populations, the receptors to estrogens and progesterone, and the proliferation marker PCNA. The latter allows one assessing the extent of proliferation. Namely, less than 10 % of cells with PCNA scored as 1 point (slight proliferation), 10-50 % 2 points (moderate proliferation), more than 50 % 3 points (extensive proliferation). The assessment of the extent of proliferation is useful for ascertaining the presence of the proliferative process in the breast allowing for the correct strategy of the treatment.
