A method for evaluating the effectiveness of treatment with moexipril of patients with coronary artery disease with angina pectoris and hypertension with diastolic dysfunction of the left ventricle of "hypertrophic" type comprises the comparison of patients before and after treatment. Before the treatment with moexipril, to a patient at rest thevDoppler echocardiography is performed and the transmitral blood flow is determined by measuring the rate of early diastolic filling. After treatment with moexipril the similar study is performed. If the rate of early diastolic left ventricular filling increased by 10.5% or more compared with the rate before treatment, the hemodynamic and antianginal effect results are evaluated as positive.
