Method for evaluation of effect of electroconvulsive shock on lipid characteristics of rat heart that prescribes investigation of fat-acid composition of tussues . One determines fat-acid compositioin of lipids of heart tissues by means of gas-liquid chromatography, with reveal of change of palmitic and arachidonic fat acids, with calculation of ratio of those by formula:K=C16:0/C20:4, whereK coefficient that characterizes lipid disorders,C 16:0 - palmitic saturated fat acid,C 20:4 essential fat acid,With comparison to control and at change of K one evaluates effect of electroconvulsive shock.
