摘要

The invention relates to finishing machining means of optical surfaces. A method of precision finishing machining concave cylindrical with small radius surfaces of optical components from glass and sapphire comprises operations of grinding and polishing by method of free lapping with application of diamond and polishing suspensions with using reciprocating rectilinear movements of a lapping tool. Simultaneously the lapping tool, in addition to reciprocating rectilinear movements along a generator of cylindrical workpiece surface, is used for performance of vibration-rotation movements around its axis, the frequency of reciprocating rectilinear movements is greater than the frequency of vibration-rotation movements of the lapping tool that are made with an amplitude about 1/9 of circle. The invention provides efficiency of precision machining the optical components.
