The invention relates to equipment for producing vegetable oils. A device for hulling sunflower seeds comprises a body, a feeder, a deck, a beater drum, a drive mechanism and a control system of a working gap. According to the invention, the beater and deck are equipped with sharp rough working surfaces. The deck has a web of lamellar sieve, which forms a working surface of cylindrical profile. In the case to the inlet upper and outlet lower ends of lamellar web stiffeners are connected which are made from angle bars and located with radial and tangential orientation of shelves to the drum surface. To the outside of web and the tangents of shelves of bars longitudinal elastic tapes are connected. The control system of working gap is made in the form of lower screw racks hingedly connected to angles mounted in the radially oriented openings of body, and upper screw racks installed in radial openings tangentially to oriented screw rods located with possibility of displacement by flywheels of their adjustment and fixation of by locknuts. The radial screw racks are equipped with tangentially oriented screws with flywheels, which abut radial shelves of angles. The beater consists of two sockets and screws for installing and fixing in one of possible positions of each of beaters. The plates have a square cross-section. The lamellar web is mounted in such a way that the sharp edges of lamellar coating are directed towards the circular motion of the drum. The invention provides intensification of hulling sunflower seeds, while maintaining the integrity of its nucleus.
