The invention relates to fur farming and deals with method for determination of stage of sex cycle in mink of cage growing. The method prescribes analysis of microscopic composition of cervical slime sampled from female at period of preparation and carrying out season of pairing at which one determines qualitative and quantitative composition of epithelium cells like parabasal, small and large intermediate and surface epithelial ones, with determination of index of maturation of cells (%), placement of cells, number of cells with normal nuclei, number of leucocytes and female behavior, and by data obtained one determines stage of sex cycle.
