The invention provides the use of an anti-endotoxin drug, E5564, for the preparation of a pharmaceutical composition for treating medical conditions such as endotoxemia, sepsis, septic shock, HIV infection, immunological disorders, graft-versus-host-disease and allograft rejection, wherein the pharmaceutical composition is to be administered by intravenous infusion.
