The invention relates to a temperature control device for controlling the temperature of parts of the human body. Said temperature control device comprises a temperature control cushion (12) that can be coupled to a temperature control device, that can be placed on the body and through which the temperature-controlled fluid can flow. Said temperature control device also comprises at least two tube connection openings (13, 14) in which, respectively one tube end (15, 16) of a supply tube (17, 18) of a tube arrangement (19) is arranged or can be introduced. The temperature-controlled fluid can be transported in the circuit between the temperature control device and temperature control cushions (12) by means of said tube arrangement (19). Said temperature-controlled fluid flows into the temperature control cushion (12) or flows out from the temperature control cushion (12) via a flow area. Holding means (23, 25, 26) that hold the flow area at least partially open in the event of the temperature control cushion (12) being bent in the region of the tube ends (15, 16) are provided.
