Procedure for obtaining free hydrogen (chloro) hydrocarbons chloride, and hydrocarbons free of phosgene, from a stream of hydrogen chloride containing (chloro) hydrocarbons and phosgene, in 5 which i) a (chlorinated) first step, connects in series a first adsorbent and a second adsorbent and the flow of fresh hydrogen chloride containing phosgene and (chloro) hydrocarbons, the first is driven by the first adsorber and subsequently through the second adsorber until the first adsorbent no longer adsorbs practically (chloro) hydrocarbon, ii) in a second step, the flow of fresh hydrogen chloride is driven by the second adsorber while the first adsorber is also regenerated in the regeneration is mostly derived hydrocarbon (chlorinated ) phosgene-free, iii) in a third step, the flow of fresh hydrogen chloride is driven by the second adsorbent and then the first regenerated adsorbent, hast to the second adsorbent hardly adsorb more (chloro) hydrocarbon, iv) in a fourth step, the flow of fresh hydrogen chloride is driven by the first adsorber while the second adsorber is also regenerated in the regeneration is obtained, mainly, (chloro) hydrocarbon free phosgene, wherein steps i) to iv) can be executed once or multiple times in succession.
