The patent relates to a system for security control and/ortransportation of persons with an elevator installation (A)and a method of operating this system. By means of thesystem, a person (P) is identified from at least oneidentification code (P1) and from at least oneauthentication signal (P2). For this purpose, anidentification code (P1) is entered and/or transmitted bythe person (P), and an authentication signal (P2) of theperson is captured. Assigned to the identification code (P1)and the authentication signal (P2) is at least one userprofile (B). An access authorization (B0) stored in the userprofile (B), and/or a pre-defined travel destination (B1) inthe user profile (B), is/are determined. The authenticationsignal (P2) is checked against at least one reference (B2)stored in a user profile (B). If an access authorization(B0) to a travel destination is present, and if theauthentication signal (B1) and reference (B2) correspond, acommand signal (S3) is transmitted to an elevatorinstallation (AS).
