DETACHABLE HUB AND SPROCKET FOR USE WITH A MECHANICAL DRIVE TRANSMISSION OF AN AGRICULTURAL IMPLEMENT

A sprocket and hub assembly for use with a mechanical drive assembly of anagriculturalimplement includes a generally flat disc having an outer edge and a generallycenter mountportion. A series of teeth are radially defined around the outer edge of thedisc. The assemblyfurther includes a hub removably mounted to the generally center mount portionof the disc. Thehub has a shaft engagement portion for removably coupling the hub to a drivenshaft of themechanical drive assembly. In one embodiment, the agricultural implementincludes a retainerdesigned to hold a set of differently sized sprockets that can beinterchangeably coupled to thedriven shaft by the hub.
