HIV-1-C RESISTANCE MONITORING

摘要

The present invention relates to methods for the evaluation of HIV-I SubtypeC(HIV- 1-C) treatment. The meth-odsare based on evaluating molecular events at the HIV-I-C gag-protease-reversetranscriptase (GPRT) resulting in altered thera-peuticefficacy of investigated anti-retro viral compounds. The methods rely onproviding HIV-I-C GPRT RNA and evaluating atreatment either through genotyping or phenotyping methods. Said methods mayfind a use in the field of diagnostics, drug screen-ing,pharmacogenetics and drug development.
