The invention relates to a teaching aid for preschool education, comprising: a puppet including first to third puppet members comprising at least one opening and having different shapes, wherein said puppet members are interconnected by means of sewing such that one of the puppet members accommodates the other two puppet members therein, and the shape of the puppet changes as either of the two puppet members is extracted through the opening from the puppet member accommodating the two puppet members; a storybook having a plurality of pages on which stories and pictures related to the puppet are printed, and having at least one hole with a size corresponding to the size of the puppet; and puppet attachment/detachment means arranged on at least one page of the storybook and on the puppet to attach the puppet to one surface of the page. The present invention combines puppets and storybooks to tell stories to children and involves changing the shape of puppet to enable children to indirectly experience the metamorphosis of insects through the puppet mimicking a real insect, thereby providing children with increased effects in studying nature.
