The present invention relates to a composition for preventing and treating apple anthracnose, comprising Rhizopus oligosporus or cultures thereof, wherein the Rhizopus oligosporus has an antagonistic effect against microbes in Colletotrichum which is a pathogenic fungus that causes apple anthracnose. The present invention also provides a method for preventing and treating apple anthracnose using the composition. The active ingredient in the composition of the present invention inhibits the growth of Glomerella cingulata, thereby reducing the incidence rate of apple anthracnose.
