A method for confirming the adjacent cell is disclosed. The method includes: a first base station inserts the serving cell information of the first base station into a first message, and the serving cell information includes cell identifier and geographical position information of the serving cell (101); the first base station sends the first message to a second base station (102), the second base station confirms the adjacent cell of at least one serving cell of the second base station according to the serving cell information and the cell identifier and geographical position information of the serving cell of the second base station. A method for configuring the relationship among adjacent cells and a related base station, a system are also disclosed.
