摘要

Disclosed are a method for determining a reference surface of indentation test material, and a method for measuring material pile-up, which is required in the measurement of surface strength. The method for determining a reference surface of indentation test material is capable of accurately determining the reference surface by considering the surface roughness of material which has not undergone impression deformation, on the basis of 3-dimensional image analysis technology. The method for determining the depth of material pile up in indentation material enables the accurate measurement of the size of plasticity areas and the depth of material pile-up in indentation material, as required in order to accurately measure surface strength. This is achieved by using the reference surface as determined as a result of the above method for determining the reference surface of indentation material, and analysing the contours of the material pile-up areas.
