Disclosed is a ballroom dance exercise apparatus which enables a male to exercise skills of leading a female according to the type of the dance along the movement path between two positions.The ballroom dance exercise apparatus has a structure which enables the male to lead an artificial partner device around his right stomach from the pit of the stomach to the right side using the right hand via a male body device.The artificial partner device has a structure comprising: a torso section which is approximate to a torso having a height of a female underbust area; and a back section and a bladebone and upper arm section which are approximate to the center of the back and the bladebone and upper arm and which never fall. The artificial partner device is moved by a member tracking the movement path between the positions or a translation and rotation mechanism. The section of the artificial partner device corresponding to the pit of the stomach is moved while subjected to contact with the right stomach of the male body device perpendicularly to the floor. Consequently, the artificial partner device is rotated independently while translated within a plane horizontal to the floor, between the closed position and the promenade.
