The voiding stamp (20) has two print images (21,22), where the voiding stamp is machine-readable by an optical detection device. The former print image has two beams, whose longitudinal axes are spaced from each other, while the latter print image has a graphic motif. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for applying a voiding stamp; and (2) a method for testing a voiding stamp.
