摘要

Provided is an automatic celestial-body tracking / image-capturing method and an automatic celestial-body tracking / image-capturing camera, wherein the images of each of the celestial-bodies can be captured in a seemingly stationary state, just by directing a camera towards an arbitrary celestial-body, and capturing the images in a state of having the camera fixed with respect to the ground. The automatic celestial-body tracking / image-capturing method comprises: a step for inputting latitude information about the image-capturing location, information about the image-capturing azimuth, information about the image-capturing angle of elevation, information about the posture of an image-capturing apparatus, and information about the focal length of an image-capturing optical system; a step for calculating, using all the information that was inputted, the relative amount of movement, with respect to the image-capturing apparatus, for fixing a celestial-body image with respect to a prescribed image-pickup area of an image-pickup element; and a step for capturing images, by moving the prescribed image-pickup area and/or the celestial-body image on the basis of the calculated relative amount of movement.
