PURPOSE: A method for removing a V-packing assembly of a billet shearing device is provided to control the deformation of components by preventing a V-packing assembly from colliding with a floor. CONSTITUTION: A method for removing a V-packing assembly of a billet shearing device is as follows. A return line is removed from a return hydraulic pressure support port of an upper frame(1). A pneumatic line is connected to the return hydraulic pressure support port. A holder cover(5) is separated from the top end of a movable holder(3). The movable holder is separated from a flange(2a) of the bottom end of a piston. A packing cover(14) is removed from the bottom end of the upper frame. A V-packing assembly(13) is fallen down from the upper frame by supplying high air pressure to the return hydraulic pressure support port through the pneumatic line.
