PURPOSE: A method for transferring a gene into plant cells using siRNA and hydrophilic polymer assembly is provided to enhance permeability and to maximize gene delivery efficiency.;CONSTITUTION: A siRNA-hydrophilic polymer assembly is formed in a ratio of 1:10-1:100, respectively. The hydrophilihc polymer is PEI, PVP, PEG or PVA. The molecular weight of the hydrophilic polymer is 100-200,000. A composition for transferring a gene into plant cells contains the siRNA-hydrophilic polymer assembly. The composition is used together with ultrasonic wave, alternatively.
