PURPOSE: A method of inspecting the state of a motor and a device for inspecting the property of the motor are provided to enable inspection to be simply performed without separation of a motor from a facility.;CONSTITUTION: A device for inspecting the property of the motor comprises a measuring unit(11), a calculating unit(19) and a display(21). The measuring unit is connected to the motor. The measuring unit measures the frequency and the amplitude of a counter electromotive-force wave, which is created when the movable unit of the motor moves with the external force. The calculating unit calculates the counter electromotive-force integer based on the frequency and the amplitude. The display indicates a predetermined determination result on the calculation result or the expected calculation result of the counter electromotive-force integer. In a state a power supply wire is separated from the motor, the armature coil of the motor is electrically connected to the motor-property inspecting device.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
